Danville, VA - Tuesday night some startup businesses competed for some big cash.  The Launch Place held its second annual "Big Launch Challenge."

6 finalists pitched their business ideas before a board of judges.  They included everything from medical technology to candy making.

In the end, Camras Vision, a company developing a device to treat glaucoma, took home the top prize of $15,000.

"62 million people have glaucoma in the world and they will go blind if they live long enough.  We have, I think, the potential to stop that.  And that's just huge for me," said CEO Ray Krauss.

Two business also tied for 2nd place, receiving $7,500 each.
