Southside Business Technology Center hires a new Business Analyst

The Southside Business Technology Center (SBTC) in partnership with Virginia Tech hired Mr. Chris Cousins as a full –time Business Analyst to satisfy the growing demand of Southside businesses requesting SBTC consulting services. SBTC has successfully delivered during its two years of operations 45 and currently is working on 4 management consulting projects for Southside Virginia businesses.

SBTC offers top quality management consulting services to local and regional business for subsidized fees. SBTC areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: business planning, market research and analysis, financial analysis, organizational analysis, etc. The center also offers internship opportunities to students from local and regional colleges and universities who are exposed to real business problems and learn to enhance their strategic thinking.

Mr. Cousins graduated from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business MBA program in May 2007. He has a broad perspective on all functional areas within a corporation as well as in-depth knowledge of each of the business functions: corporate finance, consumer behavior, market research, information technology, management science and overall corporate strategy.

As SBTC’s Business Analyst Cousins will manage several new management consulting projects and work with interns from area colleges and universities. SBTC welcomes student applications for internship opportunities from all regional schools.
