SBTC Senior Business Analyst position opening

The Southside Business Technology Center (SBTC), a management consulting organization in partnership with Virginia Tech, seeks applications for a full-time Senior Business Analyst (BA) position.

The qualified candidate for this position should expect to research, develop, analyze and complete management consulting projects for businesses in Southside Virginia under the leadership of the Executive Director. The Senior Business Analyst’s primary responsibilities include: determine management consulting project requirements and deliverables, develop project timelines/outlines, lead the market research and analysis efforts, develop financial models and forecasts, prepare top-quality reports for client delivery, provide day-to-day tactical oversight of the project staff, implement overall Project Management functions, assure that SBTC Code of Ethics is followed throughout the project development process, and assists the Executive Director with client recruitment.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required, MBA is preferred. Three years experience in consulting, management, market research and/or business analyst position is preferred. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem solving, technical writing and interpersonal communication skills. Computer skills required are: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project Manager, and SPSS preferred.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Location: Southside Business Technology Center in Martinsville, Virginia.
