Danville organization hosts business launch seminar for local entrepreneurs
DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- Have you ever wondered what it takes to start a new business?
Well, more than 20 people got a taste of what to expect at the Launch Place in Danville on Tuesday.
The organization has been investing in new and upcoming businesses for a few years now, and recently they have been hosting seminars to help aspiring you develop a wider understanding of the business world.
Tuesday, 22 people learned the 10 factors that lead to success in new business.
"We have been doing this for a good year and a half and the participation rate is growing," said President and CEO of the Launch Place, Eva Doss. "We just need to make sure that we pick the right topics, but so far the feedback was very positive and that's why we keep doing it."
The Launch Place will also be holding their third annual business plan competition in September.
